On the first day of meteorological spring, performers from St Mary’s and friends from the village offered us an early-evening entertainment, in four acts and a finale, to celebrate the seasons of the year. The weather is the least of it! In music and literature the seasons echo the stages of our lives, our changing states of mind and heart, even the progress of history.
The programme featured KAOS, the guitarist and singer Jason Hakin, The Belles of St Mary’s and their counterparts, The Beaux, St Mary’s Choristers, and other soloists and small groups connected with the church.
