Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland performed by thisismytheatre at the end of the Summer holidays was enchanting.  Bonnie aged 9 says so very clearly and the ‘grown-up’ members of the audience clearly had delightful memories of their own childhoods – riddles, poems, jokes, the Cheshire cat and playing croquet with a flamingo mallet.  All very nostalgic..

Bonnie had this to say

I really liked five things specially:

First singing at the beginning because it made a good start to the play

Second, the caterpillar was interesting and smart how they moved their fingers at the same time and sat in a position that looked like a caterpillar

Third I liked the Hatter’s tea party as well because they all were funny moving around all the time

Also it was just really fun how Alice introduced the interval because some plays someone just says it’s the interval

Finally the croquet was really funny specially when the queen hit the  hedgehog into the wrong place and the white rabbit picked it up and put it in the right place.
