Debbie Dance finished our 2024 series of Autumn Talks.

St Mary’s Church Kidlington
Debbie Dance has had an enormous influence on the City of Oxford, largely without us the residents of our great city knowing who she is, or what has been achieved.
In conversation with Joanna Foster, Debbie told us about her working life in Oxford, and the projects she’s been involved in over the years. She’s had various roles, currently for example as chairman of the board of directors of The Oxford Playhouse, and chairman of the Fabric Committee of Christ Church, but the chief of her roles has been as Director of the Oxford Preservation Trust (OPT) for 25 years, up until the end of 2023. In her supposed retirement, she’s also recently started a DPhil on the conservation movement in Oxford.
If you don’t know much about Debbie and all the great projects she has worked on in and around Oxford, then do read more about her:
