Sunday 26th April 2026, 6pm

St Mary’s Church, Church Street, Kidlington, OX5 2BA

Imogen Cooper has recently announced her retirement from a 60 year career as one of Britain’s finest concert pianists.  “One of the greatest musicians England has produced” is Simon Rattle’s opinion of her.  In her thirteen month farewell tour around Europe, St Mary’s Kidlington will be one of her stops, where she will engage in a conversation with Tim Horton, himself an acclaimed pianist and a resident of Kidlington.  In between stories of what it is like to be such a celebrated musician, there will be recordings of some of her favourite performances.
