Spitfire Girl

FoSMK presents this exciting and unique evening hosted by Oxford Airport entitled Spitfire Girl. We are thrilled to have Candida Adkins to talk about her mother Jackie Moggridge, a spitfire pilot flying out of Oxford and surrounding airfields in WW2. The Spitfire girls were an incredible group of women who have often been forgotten in history, and it is wonderful to have their story told at an airfield at which they so often landed. This memorable evening is one not to miss.

Doors open at 5.30pm for talk starting 6pm.

Please note that the theatre is on the first floor – access to this is by stairs only. We regret that this lack of a lift will cause problems for those with limited mobility.
