Spitfire Girl

FoSMK presented this exciting and unique evening hosted by Oxford Airport entitled Spitfire Girl. We were thrilled to have Candida Adkins to talk about her mother Jackie Moggridge, a spitfire pilot flying out of Oxford and surrounding airfields in WW2. The Spitfire girls were an incredible group of women who have often been forgotten in history, and it is wonderful to have their story told at an airfield at which they so often landed.

The talk was given in the Airport theatre next to the Aviation Cafe, with many thanks to all at Oxford Airport who helped facilitate the evening.
